Pumuky

Behind Pumuky are the brothers Jaír and Noé Ramírez, originally from Icod de los Vinos, a small town in the north of Tenerife. Despite an eventful journey with multiple line-up changes, they have released 8 record references on labels as prominent as Jabalina. They have a long history of concerts in Europe and Latin America, with a presence in important forums such as the Primavera Sound or NRMAL (Mexico) festivals. Popular music media, from Rockdelux to REMEZCLA or Spanish national Radio 3, have praised their music, and their albums have been included in many annual top lists. Their latest work, an EP titled "Castillo Interior" (Keroxen 2020), was selected by Bandcamp in its international highlights section "New & Notable". This release also included a series of remixes by artists such as Xiu, Jimmy Tamborello (Dntel, The Postal Service), Somos La Herencia, David Cordero and El Hijo. Rare avis, with difficult to fit in labels and scenes, Pumuky write songs as if they were doing escapism tricks.
